What is Readers Theater?
Also called chamber theater or interpretive theater, readers theater is a style of theater in which the actors do not necessarily memorize their lines. Actors use only vocal expression to help the audience understand the story rather than relying on visual aids such as sets, costumes and blocking. Plays will be presented using only the scripts and chairs. These plays are suggested by our artistic staff and audience members.
Rights pending, we hope to entertain you with comedy and drama, presented by the IVRT company of actors in an intimate setting.
